Texas District 126 radiates outward from the intersection of Cypresswood and Champion Forest drive in Northwestern Harris County, TX.  The region is predominantly residential with strong schools, neighborhoods, and churches.  

The area has transformed from rural to residential and the time is now to bring stakeholders together and connect residents to their communities by building walkable infrastructure.

20 years ago, the area could be call forested, now, usually a lone tree can be spotted on the horizon, but green spaces are few and far between.  Because of this there needs to be increased emphasis on preserving green space and enabling access to the green space that is available.

To those passing through, District 126 may seem like a bland area, with housing and strip malls on repeat.  But to those of us that live here we know that it is a dynamic and thriving community.  We know it is full of committed, kind, thoughtful people that are ready to build the America of their Dreams.  

To those far away, like the National Republican Party, this district is a ‘gimme’.  It is the very center of their power.  I think we can challenge that.
