Defend Texas Constitution

Texas Constitution:  The Texas Constitution begins with our Texas Bill of Rights. 

Section 6 of the Texas Bill of Rights: ‘No man shall be compelled to attend, erect or support any place of worship, or to maintain any ministry against his consent.’

And yet our Texas republican leadership is forcing teachers to maintain ministries by displaying religious documents and students are compelled to attend.  This is wrong.  The elected republican officials are ignoring their job instructions.  We cannot support this abuse of power.
