What is a Precinct?

A precinct is a geographic area that has the same representation at all levels of government.

As such, the people in your precinct will have the same elected representatives as you.

Generally, a precinct is about the size of a neighborhood.

Historically, if you voted on election day you would vote at a location within your precinct.
